Creative Clunes Inc. – the body behind the successful Clunes Booktown Festival, Booktown on Sunday, Book Clubs Hub and the Clunes Ceramic Award, and instrumental in the transformation of Clunes – is always looking for volunteers, booksellers, authors, and entertainers for our events.
Want to volunteer?
We’re always seeking new volunteers to help support our event. Our volunteers take on 2-hours shifts during the event and assist with gate, ticket sales, ushering at events, supporting our bands and authors, and much more! If you’ve a particular skill set to share, or you think you’ve no relevant experience at all – we have something for everyone and your assistance is valued regardless.
Want a trader’s stall at Booktown?
Whether you’re a second-hand book trader, promoting your own published works, or selling book-related products – we’re interested to have you at our event. With 15,000 book-lovers attending in 2023, you’re sure to find a keen audience. Expressions of Interest for 2024 Booktown are now open.
Want to bring your food truck / produce stall to Booktown?
We love hosting a diverse range of foods, drinks and local producers at our event. Expressions of Interest for 2024 Booktown are now open.
Are you an author, artist or entertainer wanting to join the Booktown program?
That’s awesome! Our 2024 program planning is now underway, we’re always interested to hear from artists and authors who are interested in participating in our future events.

Creative Clunes is the parent organisation of Clunes Booktown Festival. We’re a member based organisation. You can learn more about us here.
We are a blend of experiences and abilities, local, regional and city residents, brought together by our love of the arts, literature, creativity, community and regional events. As a community-run event, we particularly welcome Clunes locals. Joining the organisation enables you to stay in touch, and get involved with our planning around the event – and even join our Board.
Our Board is drawn from among our members.
