It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Ron who was such a great supporter of the Booktown Festival. He catered all our functions, and he did it with such great style, and filled the tables with so many taste sensations. We will always regret that the recipe for his famous artichoke balls has gone with him as we all used to eat far too many of them whenever they appeared on the menu.

We would ask Ron to send us an invoice for the food and for his time preparing it and he always said he would, but he never did. It was his way of supporting the event and we were always extremely grateful.

We always had the greatest respect for Ron’s culinary skills and heartfelt appreciation for his delicious and practical support of the Booktown Festival.
